Dr. Seifert is a Kansas City native. He attended the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City while on a Naval Scholarship. His residency training was through the Navy at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Virginia. He was Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Naval Hospital in Orlando, Florida, and clinical instructor at the University of South Florida. He also served as a leader at North Kansas City Hospital.

He has an interest in all areas of obstetrics and gynecologic care. Dr. Seifert is particularly interested in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He also enjoys pelvic reconstructive surgery, addressing loss of pelvic support and urinary incontinence. Dr. Seifert and his wife live in the Northland. He has two grown children.
