We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express and bank debit cards. Exceptions to this policy may apply to obstetrical patients, surgical patients and patients who have insurance with those companies that Heartland Women’s Health Care has preferred provider contracts. As a courtesy to you, insurance claims from your primary insurance are submitted by Heartland.  If the insurance pays us directly for fees we have already collected from you, a refund check will be issued to you. These checks are printed and mailed out once a month.

Please keep in mind that like you, we as providers have a contract with your insurance company. That contract mandates that we collect all co-pays and deductibles assigned by the insurance company. We are not permitted by legal contract to waive, reduce or negotiate these co-pays or deductibles.
